More about Julie

Over the past few years I’ve been working hard studying, gardening and bringing together people and concepts to make my business ideas a reality. I’m so excited to be launching the business and to be sharing all of the things that I’m passionate about and that have helped me with my own mental health journey over the years. Being able to bring everything together feels like an amazing opportunity and I can’t wait to take the first steps into my new venture. As well as studying, I’ve also recently been selected for a grant award as part of The Open University’s ‘Open Business Creators Fund’. A huge honour amongst some great ideas and stiff competition.
One of the things that I’m most passionate about, as part of the business, is building a community of collaborators to help support local businesses and artisans in sharing a wide range of skills and crafts that we may not otherwise have the opportunity to experience. The heart of Willow Wellbeing Wales is in connection, acceptance and creating an environment that helps to support and nurture good mental health practices, all whilst meeting lovely people in a beautiful setting and trying new and fun activities together, there’s even tea and biscuits – what more could you want?
